RBS is one of the UK’s leading banks and offers a range of Credit Cards to suit all needs. If you don't know much about RBS then let me tell you that they have really worked hard at putting together a range of credit cards that are just packed with benefits.
Let's get the basics out of the way - 0% on balance transfers for the first 13 months that the card is opened (2.9% transfer fee), 0% on purchases for the first 6 months, typical APR of 13.9% (normal) and no annual fee.
So far, it's all very reasonable and competitive when compared to the other cards on the market so what makes RBS stand out from the crowd? They have a great selection of discounts on all their cards which you can really make some savings on including 20% discount on all purchases from BuyaGift.com as well as 15% discount on all purchases from Kitbag.com.
If you're lucky enough to take out the student credit card then you can also take advantage of discounts from Firebox, Lonely Planet, MyMovieStream and Snapfish. Note that the APR is higher on this card at 18.9%.
There is also additional services on all cards including Travel where you can arrange holidays (with discounts), get advice on visas, passports, health and vaccinations and while you're away you can get medical supplies or documents forwarded, a legal referral service and medical advice.
